So, I recently bought a Godox speedlight and transmitter, and am still a bit scared to use them... I rarely use flash in my photography. I prefer to make use of the available light, and low light lenses. Which is all well in concert photography, but trickier with weddings and other events when it is getting dark. Besides, there are so many cool effects you can create with a flash, especially off camera. I want to learn them all!
Last weekend, I invited myself to the local playground, which was turned into a children's camp site for one night. My daughter spend the night there in her camper van tent and was more than happy to assist me, both by aiming the speedlight upon my request for backlit images, as well as being a model herself.
